Hi, I'm Pedro Ponciano
Brazilian guitarist, educator, composer & producer. Pedro has specialised in fingerstyle guitar, offering solo performances for private functions, receptions, and parties. He earned a BA in jazz studies at DCU and developed expertise in music technology through studies at Griffith College and Pulse College, as well as three years working in the music tech industry. Pedro combines performance, musical training, and music production skills to fully produce and release original music with a contemporary approach.
Solo Guitar
Pedro offers solo fingerstyle guitar, the perfect piano bar–style background music for private functions, receptions, and parties. His performances blend jazz, Brazilian, pop, traditional, and contemporary fingerstyle approaches, creating the right atmosphere for your event without being intrusive.
Music Lessons
Pedro offers guitar lessons for beginners and intermediate players, and also teaches piano, bass, drums, and ukulele to beginners. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether learning solos, strumming songs, or exploring other musical subjects. Pedro creates a personalised approach for every student, ensuring they progress in the way that works best for them.
Music Projects
Beat Escapes
A lofi‑inspired project featuring composed melodic guitar solos. The idea behind this project is to create music inspired by synesthesia. Each piece was written by imagining scenes and places and translating those images into music during the composing process. Track titles hint at the mood or scene evoked, while the lead guitar on each track carries the listener through the story. I hope you enjoy!

Somna Haze
Somna Haze blends my solo guitar compositions with synths and atmospheric effects, forming a lush, immersive sound world. Inspired by hypnagogia and Salvador Dalí’s creative process, it inhabits the space between wakefulness and sleep, where the mind softens into dreaminess or opens naturally toward creative flow.
Chordscape Creations
Chordscape Creations explores ambient guitars through sparse chord-melody ideas enriched with effects. Each track evokes a particular mood, offering calm, meditative pieces for ease-down moments or more pensive, melancholic tracks for reflection.
